Get well Dragon card

I made this little get well card for a special young man. Andrew is a young man that has faced medical problems since birth and now has underwent yet another surgery. When I read about him and how his mother thought getting cards might help lift his spirits, I thought it would be fun to see how many cards from around the world we could get to this inspirational young man. So, to Andrew, here is one from Idaho, USA! If you would like to join in and help bless him, please read more about Andrew here. Andrew, I am wishing all God's best for your life!

I am entering it in two challenges before I get it mailed off. The first was the sketch from Sketch Saturday.

And the other challenge is found at Raise the Bar where we were to use something that was given to us. The patterned paper was given to me by my niece and the ink I used to edge the papers was given to me by my Mother.

This was a fun challenge to do. Thanks ladies for working so hard so we can all have fun playing together!

  2. I am sure Andrew will love this card and will be extra suprised when he gets a card from the USA. Each time one has arrived he has looked at the post mark and said 'this could be international', and each time its been from the uk. I'm not sure who he is expecting international from as there is only his grandparents who live in Tenerife it could be and he hasn't got a cad from them for get well soon since he was little. I suppose it could be as he's had so many surgeries that it has just become routine to them all but the cards do so lift his spirits. Thankyou for writing such lovely words about my son and from the bottom of my heart thankyou for taking the time to make a card and good luck with the challenges.Hugs Julye
