Card for Luke!

Lacey from Stamp and Create is having a card drive and fund raisers to help a little boy named Luke. You can read more about him on her blog, so please go visit her blog as well as her store! I was really touched by his story and wanted to make a card for him. I am challenging everyone who reads this to make him a card also! I just spent the last week at my little get away island and this was the very first project on my list. I chose to make an easel card thinking Luke may like it standing. I chose the scripture as that seems to be one of many that the family is drawing strength from as they lean totally on God to see them thru this ordeal. I hope you will add Luke and his family to your prayers.

I am entering lots of challenges in hopes of spreading Lukes' story:

Pile it On- childhood praying all Lukes dreams of playing and living a normal life will come true!

Valentine for my parents

Valentine for my Girls

This is the card I made for the grand daughters for V-day. I decided to see how many different things I could do to this card. lol I used my new paper pad by DCWV and for something old I used my sewing machine.....well over 25 years old. I then used a MS punch for the border as well as some lace ribbon. I inked all the edges for the distressed look.Used my Expression for the flourishes. Then I dug out my Blingz and Shimmerz and added them.....Blingz on the flowers and Shimmerz on the flourishes and lace border. Of course I just had to add a little stickles here and there on the stamped image. I found the little white bud things in some wedding junk I had left over from my dd's wedding......over 10 years ago. The darling little image is from Bildmalarna's new "Little Winged Friends" set. I think they are all so cute! I colored the image with copics, chalks and pencils.

Another Grandsons Valentine

This is the second "boys" card I made for some of the grandsons. I love this cute little Hanglar stamp but then I love most Hanglars! lol I colored him with a mixture of copics, chalks, water pencils and colored pencils. I used some hemp cord to string thru the hearts and also to hang the heart buttons. All the pattern papers are from my stash of papers I bought from Costco years ago. Am still trying to use some stash but so far don't see much of a dent in any! lol
