Birthday card in pinks

A friend of mine would like me to make her a few cards done in pinks and mauves.
she wants 3 brithday and 3 thinking of you  so you may get bored by the time I am finished with 6 pink cards!  lol  I ordered some cardstock online only to have it arrived in more orange shades than pinks.  Sure looked more like the rose shades in their photos and by the names, I really couldn't tell what I was ordering.  So, I went to my lss only to find that cardstock there is now over a dollar a sheet!  I really need to find a place to buy in bulk at a great discount.  lol  This is the first one I have finished.  I used one of my new Bildie stamps and colored her with my copics.  I also used scraps of pp from another project......yes I am using up some old stash and scraps again!   I added a few flowers, pearls and of course stickles!  I hope she likes this creation!  Thanks for stopping by and may God always bless you!

My first slider pop card

I made this simple pop up slider card just to see how to make them.  This is for my brother whose birthday is next month.  I am so excited to be getting a little ahead of my birthday card list this year.  Usually it if hurry up and get it mailed so you will only be a few days late!!!  lol  I used scrap papers from a layout I made which helps with the use your scraps promise I made myself.  The cute little image is a stamp from Whipper Snapper.  The trees are sizzix dies.  A little ribbon, charm and ink and it is done.  I do like the pull out part to sign your sentiments.  Next one I will sew on as to me it is really missing on this card.  I was more concerned in making it than making it good.  lol  I thank each and everyone for stopping by.  God bless.

Hello and welcome to your next stop in this wonderful Hop Around the World!

Here is the sketch I am showcasing for the hop
And here is the card I made for my brother's birthday.

I used papers from my stash.  I did distress and ink the edges.  The little pinecones were from a Christmas stem from Michaels.  I cut two off and inked them brown as they were white.  I stitched around some of the edges and called it quits.  lol

I also used the sketch for a more "girly" card.  The patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye.  The image is colored with copics (just learning how to use them).  The little crocheted flower was a gift from a wonderful  friend...thanks April!  I inked and sewed around the edges too.
Now for the fun part! This is the prize you can win by playing along with me!
