Until I began blogging, my favorite part of crafting was having something I put my heart and soul into and could give to someone as a gift or just having it around the house to remind me of where I was emotionally or spiritually at that time since the things I craft seem to reflect that....but now I can honestly say that crafting has lead me to blogging which has lead me to meeting some of the most wonderful people on the world!! I have learned so much and made so many amazing friends and am thankful for that every single day :)

It's also helped to give me a sense of purpose since losing a career I loved following a car accident, I used to get so frustrated wanting to do things I couldn't because of my injury & the days would drag by, now there aren't enough hours in the day lol

When I first started making cards I didn't know about rub-ons and mists, embossing, or how to make flowers. I didn't know what a brad was or an eyelet. There is so much stuff out there that every time I walk into a Michael's or a Jo-Ann's I what to buy EVERYTHING! It's so therapeutic to make cards that people enjoy!

Whenever I'm already seated at my craft table, she will also pull her own chair, and ask me if she can help in any way. I let her use my stuff and she'd cut or stamp or do a little craft on her own. :D
