My brother's birthday card
I am finally finished with a well overdue birthday card. I made this for my brother for his birthday. Didn't start out as an easel card....only ended that way because after I got the front all decorated, I realized the card would open from the top. lol So after quickly cutting off at the fold, it soon became and easel card. I was telling my sil about how dumb I was and she said that was a good thing as easel cards are my brother's favorite. So with that being said, I hope he will forgive me for being so slow and hope he likes this little fisherman!
I used the cute little Hanglar fisherman as fishing is one of my brother's favorite pastimes. I also tried my hand at quilling again making the cattails on the bottom part of the card. I dug thru my old old stash of stickers and found the campfire one and decided to use it. I used chestnut roan ink to distress all the edges. Would have used my Tim Holtz distressing tool too but seamed to have misplaced it once again! lol And of course, I just had to use stickles! lol
