Card for Luke!
Lacey from Stamp and Create is having a card drive and fund raisers to help a little boy named Luke. You can read more about him on her blog, so please go visit her blog as well as her store! I was really touched by his story and wanted to make a card for him. I am challenging everyone who reads this to make him a card also! I just spent the last week at my little get away island and this was the very first project on my list. I chose to make an easel card thinking Luke may like it standing. I chose the scripture as that seems to be one of many that the family is drawing strength from as they lean totally on God to see them thru this ordeal. I hope you will add Luke and his family to your prayers.
I am entering lots of challenges in hopes of spreading Lukes' story:

Well, I have spent the last several hours searching blogs for this card. I would like to get Luke's story out more so if anyone sees any other challenges it might qualify for, please let me know. Thank you all for stopping by and may God richly bless you all.

Valentine for my parents
I found the sketch from Beary Scrap and knew I wanted to use it for the little card for my mom and pop. I used the new mini magnolia I just got and colored her with copics, chalks and pencils. I tried to get a good photo but the colors just kept looking washed out.

Valentine for my Girls
This is the card I made for the grand daughters for V-day. I decided to see how many different things I could do to this card. lol I used my new paper pad by DCWV and for something old I used my sewing machine.....well over 25 years old. I then used a MS punch for the border as well as some lace ribbon. I inked all the edges for the distressed look.Used my Expression for the flourishes. Then I dug out my Blingz and Shimmerz and added them.....Blingz on the flowers and Shimmerz on the flourishes and lace border. Of course I just had to add a little stickles here and there on the stamped image. I found the little white bud things in some wedding junk I had left over from my dd's wedding......over 10 years ago. The darling little image is from Bildmalarna's new "Little Winged Friends" set. I think they are all so cute! I colored the image with copics, chalks and pencils.
