Mojo Monday Challenge

I made this card trying to follow the Mojo Monday sketch but my image was way too big! I am not too happy with the way it turned out. Things are sure a lot cuter in the planning stage than the finished!!!! lol I still really enjoyed doing this challenge even if things didn't work out the way I thought they would.

Here are three more cards I made while at mom's. The first one is my first Whiffs of Joy stamp. I just love her. The sketch was from last weeks Forever Friends challenge.

This next one is High Hopes stamp of a poor little sick dragon. lol I made it an easel card as you can see. I do like the easel cards!
And this last one is just a sweet Sugar Nellie stamp. I used some pearlescent chalks on part of her so she has a little shimmer.

I made this card for several challenges while I was at my mother's. But, when I got home I found that most of the challenges had ended. lol It does still qualify for the Snowflake challenge http://klstampinnscrappin.blogspot.com/2009/11/debs-snowflake-tutorialnovember.html

I did have a lot of fun creating this easel card. The snowflakes were done somewhat like the tutorial. You cannot really see all the glitter and sparkle in this photo but it is there. lol Thanks for an awesome challenge!

A few layouts I have done.

I will not be around until Monday so won't be able to post any new projects. So, I am posting a few layouts I have made in the past. The first was for a friend in Missouri for her little grandson. The other three were some I sold on eBay. I hope to hurry back and play some more with the challenges! I will miss everyone while I am gone.

Crazy 4 Challenges Week 10 Easel card and Challenge for Our Daily Bread "Show Us the Shimmer" and Penny Black 74 "Song or Lyric"

I had so much fun doing this challenge. I cannot believe how many ways there are to make cards!!! I think this whole stamping and card making thing might be a worse addiction than scrapping!!! lol Dh really needs to ponder a second job! lol The card was made for the three challenges. You cannot really tell but the people have been popped up and then the baby was popped again.

High Hopes Challenge 52

Lacey, thanks for a wonderful sketch!!! I enjoyed doing this challenge. It is my first blog challenge where I had to actually follow some sort of directions. lol The only other blog challenge I have done was the card for Jaimie. As you can probably tell I am just learning this whole stamping business and I know I need more work....especially with the whole coloring bit. I just received a few High Hopes stamps last week so was excited when I saw this challenge. I think they are just the cutest stamps. Can't wait to do more challenges but am sure I need to purchase another stamp or two!!!

High Hopes Challenge #52

This is my first challenge card other than the one I made for Jaimie. I had a lot of fun making this card. The sketch was a challenge for me. lol I just got a few High Hopes stamps this past week so was excited when I came upon this challenge. I am new to stamping and making cards so know I need a little more practice on the whole coloring thing. I thank you for this fun challenge and am looking forward to more! Got to get me some more stamps first!!!!

Tir Fold cards

The Halloween card was made due to a challenge from Jamie from Scrapping Friends (http://scrappingfriends.yuku.com/directory) I had so much fun making it. She sent the participants a little kit of the things we had to use on our card. All the cards were just beautiful. This is mine.

This is the card I made for Jamie. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Thanks for the "Spread the Love to Jamie" challenge. I feel honored to be a part of it and to also have it be the first card I made for any blog challenge.

Hello. I am new to this whole blog thing so consider yourself as warned! lol I am setting this blog up with the thought of sharing some of my scrapping creations for anyone who may want to take a gander at them. I will start with the card I made my brother that is having surgery tomorrow.

My online scrapping buddy, Bev, and I are visiting other card maker blogs and doing a few of their challenges. I am fairly new to card making and the whole stamping thing but am finding myself being sucked into yet another reason for my poor husband to keep working!
